Sabi pa ng director, “Wala namang curfew na ibinigay sa akin, but I make sure I don’t stay so late kasi respect din sa mommy at daddy at sa kanya [Toni Gonzaga] rin. The Sam Milby-Piolo Pascual versus Lolit Solis case heats up! Last week, the two parties were on the verge of patching things up, with Piolo saying he doesn’t want any enemies and Lolit saying the same (and she even said sorry in Startalk!). Unfortunately, nothing came out of it. At 10am today (December 20), Lolit Solis filed her counter affidavit to Sam Milby and Piolo Pascual’s libel charge against her in the office of Manila City Assistant Prosecutor Dennis Aguila. Below is an excerpt of her counter affidavit courtesy of PEP. Lolit stressed over and over again that she didn’t call or even imply that Sam and Piolo are gay. Read on!

After Marimar, Philippines’ hottest young actress these days is rumored to star in a TV remake of Mars Ravelo’s popular comics mermaid, Dyesebel. Marian Rivera says she heard rumors about being offered the role but she still has to receive a FORMAL offer about it. Dyesebel is set to replace the actress’ current show, Marimar, after it ends in March 2008. Marian Rivera said, “Mabuti na yung pormal ang lahat. Ayoko namang mag-feeling na ako na ang gaganap sa project na ito pero may naiisip pa pala silang ibang aktres. Hintayin ko na lang siguro kung ano talaga. Mahirap mag-assume, di ba? Tutal nandiyan pa naman ang Marimar. Magiging busy pa rin ako until early next year.”
Yesterday, in a live interview with The Buzz, the pretty “Maging Sino Ka Man 2” actress finally laid down to rest the rumors that she and boyfriend Derek Ramsey have broken up. Says Angelica Panganiban, “Actually, nakakagulat nga siya dahil may mga taong nagtatanong na din sa akin kung totoo daw na hiwalay na kami [ni Derek]. Hindi po kami naghihiwalay!” The Kapamilya star then explained that she even went with him to Taiwan to support him in a competition that he recently joined.
After weeks of speculation, we can safely say that the beautiful Jennylyn Mercado will remain a Kapuso, at least until 2009. Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) called up GMA Artist Center and asked if they received a letter from Jen and manager Becky Aguila (na manager ni Angel Locsin na isa ng Kapamilya) requesting that the actress be released from the network. The Artist Center informer replied, “As far as I know, kami ang nagpadala ng letter sa kanya [Jennylyn] na ini-inform namin siyang kailangan na niyang pumirma ng another contract sa GMAAC … Specified kasi sa contract niya sa amin na kami ang may option na i-renew pa ng another year ang contract niya kaya hanggang 2009 pa ang contract niya sa amin.”
