After weeks of speculation, we can safely say that the beautiful Jennylyn Mercado will remain a Kapuso, at least until 2009. Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) called up GMA Artist Center and asked if they received a letter from Jen and manager Becky Aguila (na manager ni Angel Locsin na isa ng Kapamilya) requesting that the actress be released from the network. The Artist Center informer replied, “As far as I know, kami ang nagpadala ng letter sa kanya [Jennylyn] na ini-inform namin siyang kailangan na niyang pumirma ng another contract sa GMAAC … Specified kasi sa contract niya sa amin na kami ang may option na i-renew pa ng another year ang contract niya kaya hanggang 2009 pa ang contract niya sa amin.”

As for Jennylyn Mercado’s future projects, the informer continues, “Bago matapos ang La Vendetta sa January 2008, magsisimula na siyang mag-taping ng Maging Akin Ka Lamang … After the New Year, magsisimula na silang mag-taping. First team-up nila ito ni Patrick Garcia sa GMA-7.” WOW! I’m sure maraming matutuwa nito! Anong say nyo Jen and Pat fanatics?? =)
