After Marimar, Philippines’ hottest young actress these days is rumored to star in a TV remake of Mars Ravelo’s popular comics mermaid, Dyesebel. Marian Rivera says she heard rumors about being offered the role but she still has to receive a FORMAL offer about it. Dyesebel is set to replace the actress’ current show, Marimar, after it ends in March 2008. Marian Rivera said, “Mabuti na yung pormal ang lahat. Ayoko namang mag-feeling na ako na ang gaganap sa project na ito pero may naiisip pa pala silang ibang aktres. Hintayin ko na lang siguro kung ano talaga. Mahirap mag-assume, di ba? Tutal nandiyan pa naman ang Marimar. Magiging busy pa rin ako until early next year.”

If ever the GMA management will offer the role to her, will she be willing to go topless? “Bakit naman hindi?” laughs Marian Rivera. “Oo naman, wala namang sirenang naka-bra, di ba? Except siyempre sa Disney cartoon na The Little Mermaid kasi pambata naman ‘yon. Pero sa mga foreign movies na tungkol sa sirena, wala naman talaga silang suot na bra. Puro buhok lang na nakatakip sa dibdib nila.” Can’t hardly wait! I’m sure marami na namang maloloka kay Marian nito! Hehe!
